STRENGTHENING THE TRAFFIC SAFETY TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT ECOSYSTEM.
Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) carried out the Online Training of Master Trainer / Training of Master Assessor (ToMT/ToMA) Programme for Traffic Safety Marshal – NSQF Level 2.5.The programme was designed to strengthen the capabilities of Master Trainers and Master Assessors in developing and assessing competencies related to traffic safety, vehicle and pedestrian movement, and safe traffic management practices.

Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) successfully conducted a Training of Trainers (ToT) Programme in collaboration with L&T on 3–4 August 2026, bringing together trainers and assessors associated with key construction trades.The programme was designed to strengthen the capacity of trainers and assessors to deliver competency-based, industry-aligned training, while integrating essential EHS and safety practices into construction skill development.

The Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) announces the upcoming ToMT/ToMA program for Traffic Safety Marshal, focusing on traffic management at worksites, diversion and pedestrian safety, driver communication, monitoring and control of movement, visitor and parking management, incident prevention with PPE, basic security and first aid, workplace hygiene, and team coordination with professional conduct.

The Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) successfully conducted a Capacity Building Session with its Training Partners and Assessment Agencies, focusing on the ongoing Skill Gap Analysis Survey undertaken by the organization. The session aimed to identify emerging industry trends and evolving job roles while assessing critical skill gaps across technical, safety, and behavioral domains. It also emphasized evaluating the effectiveness of existing training and certification frameworks to support evidence-based policymaking, curriculum enhancement, and workforce development initiatives.
