Job Role
Basic Scaffold Inspector is responsible for Inspection of Scaffolding and certify the compliances of scaffolding platform as per design, relevant specifications and ensure scaffolding safety for use of supported scaffolds up to a height of 20 meters . He is also responsible for advice on maintenance of documents, safe practices & compliances.

Job Role
The Safety Inspector (OSHE) will be responsible for inspection and ensuring the safety of the workplace by identifying and assessing potential hazards and highlighting measures to prevent accidents. The role involves conducting regular inspections, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management coordinating with regulatory bodies and executives on ways to improve safety standards and best safety practices. Safety Inspector is also responsible to examine a company’s machinery, operational procedures, management techniques, and environmental concerns, investigating & maintaining incidents, and accidents along with recommending corrective actions to reoccurrence.

Safety Supervisor is responsible for scrutiny of an organizations safety process to identify gaps, loopholes, and inefficiencies in safety processes. The job holder priorities safety issues that can cause harm to a person’s health and safety and suggests measures to control them. He/she is also responsible to identify gaps in compliance of safety regulations and suggest methodologies to improve the safety compliance & processes.

Job Role
Safety Executive (OSHE) is responsible for the implementation health & safety policy, ensure organization’s health & safety compliance as per the local/national legislative requirements. Identify workplace hazards and suggest actionable controls for mitigating the hazard, assist and advise the management in maintaining safe working conditions in the organization; promote positive safety culture and escalate grievances related to improper or unsafe working conditions.

SSDF skilling initiative launched in Tamil Nadu – painter training for safer, skilled & professional finishing workforce
The Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) has launched a Painter Skill Upgradation Program in Tamil Nadu, focused on improving safety practices, surface preparation, painting techniques, and overall finishing quality in industrial projects. This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with Larsen & Toubro and NAC Andhra Pradesh as part of the larger national program to skill 5000 workers across various trades.The training strengthens workers’ capabilities in interior and exterior wall finishing, metal and wood painting, defect correction, and modern spray techniques, while reinforcing workplace safety,productivity, and tool-handling discipline.

Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) is implementing a large-scale skilling initiative to upskill 5,000 workers across multiple trades, in strategic collaboration with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and NAC Andhra Pradesh. As part of this initiative, our ongoing training programs in Masonry, Plumbing, and Painting at Chengalpattu ITI were recently inspected and reviewed by the Hon’ble Minister for Labour Welfare and Skill Development, Government of Tamil Nadu, Shri C. V. Ganesan, along with his team.
SSDF Skilling in Tamil Nadu | Electrician Training for Safety, Domestic Wiring, and Fault Diagnostics
The Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) has launched a specialised training programme for electricians in Tamil Nadu, aimed at enhancing technical electrical skills alongside safe installation and maintenance practices. This programme is conducted in collaboration with Larsen & Toubro and NAC Andhra Pradesh, as part of a larger national initiative to skill 5,000 workers across construction trades.
