As part of its commitment to bolstering occupational safety and sustainability, the Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) recently conducted a strategic visit to the Trident Group’s textile manufacturing facility in Budhni, Madhya Pradesh. The visit aimed at strengthening industry-institution collaboration and exploring skill-based interventions tailored to improve safety, efficiency, and environmental practices in textile operations.

ToMT/ToMA Program Highlights SSDF’s Commitment to Safety and Capacity Building

We are pleased to share highlights from the Training of Master Trainers and Master Assessors (ToMT/ToMA) program conducted on 23rd April 2025, by Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) at CORE EHS, Surat, Gujarat. This initiative focuses on the micro-credentials developed for “Basics of Occupational Hazards & Risk Management;” a skill-building course designed to enhance foundational safety competencies. This micro-credential training program delivers essential knowledge on identifying and managing occupational hazards across a variety of industrial contexts. Designed specifically for entry-level safety professionals, vocational instructors, and operational personnel, the program lays the groundwork for a culture of initiative-taking risk management.

Empowering Safety Leaders: SSDF Launches ToMT / ToMA Program in Surat on Risk Analysis & Accident Prevention

We’re pleased to share highlights from the Training of Master Trainers and Master Assessors (ToMT / ToMA) program being conducted on  24th  April 2025   by the Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) at CORE EHS, Surat, Gujarat. This intensive training is aligned with the micro-credential curriculum on “Basics of Risk Analysis & Accident Prevention Methods”, designed to strengthen occupational safety and health (OSHE) expertise at the grassroots level. This NSQF Level 4-aligned program delivers foundational yet practical knowledge in risk identification, hazard analysis, and mitigation strategies that are essential for creating safe work environments.

We’re thrilled to share the highlighrs of Training of Master Trainers and Master Assessors (ToMT/ToMA) program conducted on 25th April 2025,  by the Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) at CORE EHS in Surat, Gujarat. This session focuses on the Basics of Safety Protocols for Construction Works.  The Micro credential provides the safety protocols, process required to be followed and personal protective equipment (PPEs) to be used by the workers at construction site while performing various construction activities at height, at elevated platforms, depths, handling materials and precautions to be taken while moving at the construction site and maintaining a tidy work-site environment.

Skill Meets Sport: SSDF Promotes Women's Empowerment at State Volleyball Tournament

The Gujarat State Senior Women’s Volleyball Tournament commenced with vibrant energy at K. P. Commerce Ground, Athwa Lines, Surat, in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Union Minister Shri C. R. Patil. Organized by the Ramkrishna Human Welfare Society with support from Gujarat State Volleyball Association, the tournament showcased the growing momentum of women in sports. The Safety Skills Development Foundation (SSDF) proudly sponsored Team Navsari NightQueens, underlining its commitment to empowering women through skill development beyond conventional sectors. SSDF Director Mrs. Shivani Anand, congratulating the players at the event, emphasized that sports form an integral part of holistic development, particularly for women from rural and semi-urban areas. 

Announcement: Upcoming ToMT / ToMA Training Program

SSDF is pleased to announce the Training of Master Trainer (ToMT) and Training of Master Assessor (ToMA) program, scheduled from 22nd to 25th April 2025 at CORE-EHS Pvt Ltd, Surat, Gujarat.

This four-day training equips safety professionals with industry-relevant micro-credentials on topics like the BOCW Act, occupational hazards, risk management, and construction safety protocols. Designed to build expert trainers and assessors, the program supports India’s growing need for competent safety leaders.

ToT / ToA Program for Safety Supervisors – Empowering OSHE Professionals Nationwide​

Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) is pleased to announce its upcoming Training of Trainer (ToT) and Training of Assessor (ToA) program for professionals in the Safety Supervisor (OSHE) role at NSQF Level 4.5. Scheduled from April 21–30, 2025, at BBN Skill Development Institute, Sunder Nagar (HP), this 10-day intensive program aims to certify safety professionals as skilled trainers and assessors aligned with national competency standards.

SSDF Partners with BSDM to Empower Bihar’s Youth through Skill Development

The Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) has joined hands with the Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM) to enhance youth employability through advanced skill training. The partnership was formalized with an MoU signed on 19th December 2024, during Bihar Business Connect 2024, in the presence of BSDM leaders and dignitaries. This initiative focuses on equipping Bihar’s youth with industry-relevant skills to excel in various sectors across the state and beyond.

SSDF and ASAP Kerala Partner to Empower Youth Through Skill Development

The Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) Kerala to empower Indian youth with in-demand skills. In a strategic move to enhance Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (OSHE) training and professional competencies, the Safety Skill Development Foundation (SSDF) has signed a five-year Memorandum of Association (MoA) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the Advanced Training Institute (ATI) ONGC, Goa. The MoA was inked by Shri J.K. Anand, Chairman of SSDF, and Shri Sanjeev Singhal, ED-Head of ATI ONGC, in the presence of key dignitaries from both organizations.
